Whether you’re looking for participation in the summer or longer immersion with credit-bearing courses throughout the year, the Division of Continuing Education can get you there.
Academic Study Abroad Program (ASAP)
ASAP provides current university students around the globe an incomparable university experience by studying abroad at UCI Irvine for three, six, or nine months. Students take credit-bearing academic courses that may transfer back to their home university degree programs.
Student can choose from a variety of courses through the Division of Continuing Education:
Engineering
Marketing
Business and more!
Tuition Fees:
The ASAP tuition ranges from $8,200 USD for 3 months/1 quarter to $24,000 USD for 9 months/3 quarters. Additional required fees per quarter are: $585 Student Health Insurance and $250 Student Services.

Experience University Research (for High School students)
Experience University Research (EUR) for High School Students is an academically challenging and culturally immersive program designed to help highly motivated students take advantage of a Top 10 university campus, building practical skills and gaining invaluable experience as they prepare to apply to college. This EUR Package is ideal for international high school students over the age of 15 with high English proficiency. NO F-1 visa required!
Requirements:
Available to high school student groups (minimum age: 15 years old)
Recommended English proficiency: TOEFL iBT 60 or equivalent

Experience University Research (for current undergraduate and graduate students)
Experience University Research (EUR) for University Undergraduate and Graduate Students is an academically challenging and culturally immersive program designed to help highly motivated students take advantage of a Top 10 university campus, building practical skills and gaining invaluable experience as they further their academic and profession careers. This EUR Package is designed to accommodate both international students with high English proficiency (iBT TOEFL score of 60 recommended) and native English speakers over the age of 18. An F-1 visa is required for international students enrolling in this full-time program.
POST-GRADUATE CERTIFICATE & INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS
Each of UCI post-graduate certificate programs provide the opportunity to:
Enhance the value of your degree and update your skills and knowledge in your area of specialization in just 3 months.
Gain practical work experience and apply academic theory in an internship related to your area of study
Attend a Presentation Skills Seminar to further develop your English communication skills for greater success in your profession.
Receive academic advising.
Participate in educational field trips to observe American professionals in the work environment
Develop a professional network of American and international colleagues
Consider Optional Practical Training (OPT) after 9 months of full-time study (to be eligible for an OPT of 12 months student needs to complete both certificate and internship course).
